Ok guys got some bad news what started as a small problem of my server not being visible has escalted. The hard drive gave up the ghost before i could salvage the accounts. Going to take me a day or 2 to get back up and running but think Ringy will host in meantime. I'm realy sorry about the accounts nothing i can do to salvage. going to put a second hard drive in to back up accounts to in future.

It would appear that Vista, Freelancer and most Anti Virus software do not get on at times. In maybe 1 in 50 Vista installations on which Anti Virus software is loaded Freelancer is unable to connect to our server or any other sever come to that. Nobody has been able to fathom out why and it has been seen to happen on all the major servers. Only ways round is either remove the Anti Virus altogether whilst playing Freelancer or try different ones till you find one that works with your installation of Vista.

Install info:

PLEASE LEAVE THE FULL 5.45 MOD ACTIVATED IN FLMM ( Freelancer Mod Manager)

DOWNLOAD AND RUN THE PATCH EXE IT WILL GO INTO FLMM

ACTIVATE IT! ( DO NOT DE-ACTIVATE THE FULL 5.45 MOD )

YOU WILL GET 2 WARNINGS IGNORE THEM AND CLICK OK

YOU SHOULD THEN HAVE BOTH THE FULL 5.45 MOD AND THE TEKS 545 PATCH ACTIVATED IN FLMM.

Patch removes Vanilla cap ships and Harbringer ship, Also regens have been removed.

WARNING! failure to apply the patch will cause you to CTD if you attempt to buy any of the above ships or regens it may also corrupt your account

SO PLEASE APPLY THIS PATCH ASAP! thank you.

Install info:

Please de-activate 5.44 from FLMM ( Freelancer Mod Manager )

Please do a complete re-install of Freelancer removing all save game and other files from your my docs etc'
taking care to make a note of your FL ID number before you do anything!!

(FL ID number = START>All programs > Microsoft games >Freelancer >examine my account ID )
PRINT IT OR WRITE IT DOWN CAREFULLY we cannot recover this for you server side so MAKE SURE you take note.

Run the teks545.exe this will install it into FLMM

Open FLMM and activate the 5.45 mod.
